SEA FASTENING
What holds when the weather doesn't.
What holds when the weather doesn't.
Cargo that survives loading and fails at sea is the most expensive kind. QATE designs and installs sea fastening for project cargo, modules, structures and equipment on vessels and barges — grillage and stools fabricated to the cargo and the deck, welded chocks and stoppers installed on board, and controlled removal on arrival. Designed by our engineers, built in our yard, welded by our crews.

Why QATE for this
-
Designed and fabricated in-house. The grillage is engineered and built by the same company that welds it down. No gap between drawing and deck.
-
We work to the vessel. Fastening is arranged around actual deck layout, strong points and stowage — established by survey, not assumed.
-
We remove what we install. De-lashing and grillage removal on arrival, deck made good.
